The Russell Show: Featuring Lancelot's Lady, by Cherish D'Angelo.

I'm honored to be hosting Romance/Suspense novelist, Cherish D'Angelo, author of Lancelot's Lady. This is the first time that I am hosting an author on a blog tour. When I was approached by Ms D'Angelo to host her on her Cherish the Romance book tour, I was originally supposed to do what other book bloggers do—either interview or allow them to do a guest blog. I decided to do something different: recite an excerpt from Lancelot's Lady.

Lancelot's Lady is available in ebook edition at KoboBooks, Amazon's Kindle Store, Smashwords and other ebook retailers. Help Cherish celebrate by picking up a copy today and "Cherish the romance..."

You can learn more about Lancelot's Lady and Cherish D'Angelo (aka Cheryl Kaye Tardif) at and Follow Cherish from September 27 to October 10 on her Cherish the Romance Virtual Book Tour and win prizes.

What do you think about this video?

Leave a comment at below, with email address, to be entered into the prize draws. You're guaranteed to receive at least 1 free ebook just for doing so. Plus you'll be entered to win a Kobo ereader. Winners will be announced after October 10th.

Thank you!

Russell Brooks is the author of the soon-to-be-released action/thriller, Pandora's Succession.

  1. How original! I love it. As much as the written word still has an impact, I think oral storytelling doesn't get nearly enough time in today's world.

  2. I lost count as to how many blogs I have hit!! lol This is fun!!!

    Very nice video!!

Good luck with the tour!! I am following you around!! (More like stalking!!! lol)

I am enjoying finding all sorts of new blogs to follow!!

    All my best,

  4. JM, Sarah and Pippirose, I'm glad you enjoyed this video. It definitely is an original approach. Anyone who knows me knows I'm pretty much up for trying anything new. Marketing shouldn't be about doing the "same old same old".

Today, I wanted some fun. And I think we got it!

Russell, I laughed so hard I cried! I love this video. Thank you so much for doing it. What a brave man you are--reading a romance novel! :-) But I get the feeling you enjoyed that scene. hehe

I must go tweet about this!

  5. I'm glad that you all enjoyed this. I did the same thing for JA Konrath a few months ago with his permission. I'd be happy to do this again for any author.

  6. This was such a cool experience and a really unique idea for my tour. Thank you, Russell!! :-)

  7. I really liked the video. I thought Russell's approach was v. cool!
